To the Editor:
I’d like to thank Brion Patterson for his Letter to the Editor in the paper two weeks ago concerning the need for improving academic achievement and for a better attendance policy. As educators, parents, and community members, we all want what is in the best interest of our children. Both good attendance and striving for academic excellence are necessary to ensure a successful education.
