To the Editor:
I would like to offer my congratulations to Paul Nichols on being named Rappahannock County’s 1995 Citizen of the Year.
Since I was not fortunate enough to have lived in this county my entire life, I did not have Mr. Nichols as a Boy Scout leader, but being a Scoutmaster myself, 1 can say that it is a very fulfilling honor to be a role model for boys in the age that we live in now.
It takes time and a genuine concern for the future of young men and our country, a concern that I am sure Mr. Nichols has had for many years and has displayed in many ways.
I have worked with Mr. Nichols in Scouting and have learned many things during that time. I would like to thank him for helping me to get Troop 200 started in Flint Hill in the past year.
Congratulations, Mr. Nichols, and thank you for'all you have done for the youth of Rappahannock County.
