The worst weather can bring out the best in people sometimes. I want to thank Steve Critzer and his snowplow for saving me hours of work in digging out my car last Wednesday. He also took a good swipe at the driveway. Bill Rapp, a new resident to the county who lives in my neighborhood on Harris Hollow Road, also helped by lending me his snow shovel and by helping me shovel.
That feeling of freedom and elation when the car is finally out is hard to match. But if I had had to shovel out my car entirely by myself, 1 would have been too pooped to drive anywhere!
