members between committees is particularly disconcerting, not only because my party is proportionately underrepresented on committees already, but because such switches cause not only seniority to be forfeited, but also deprives the losing committee of years of accumulated expertise. It is especially troubling recognizing that the vast majority of our work is accomplished in committee.
Now that both houses of the General Assembly have organized, we are able to move forward with legislation that will prepare the Commonwealth for the 21st century.
