They have adapted real well. We have more talent than I anticipated.”

He said 28 boys came out for the tciam and he kept 20 including three eighth graders who are not eligible to pjay but are practicing with the team, preparing for next year. !; He has enjoyed working with Sheriff Gary Settle as assistant coach. “Our coaching styles fit like hand and glove,” Coach Hackney said. “We work hard at the fundamentals.” He said his team has done a lot of its practice in the gym, and they have emphasized conditioning with the boys.
