In the year 1955 a revolution began that would irreversibly change the way African-Americans were treated in this country. A Time for Justice is the story of that struggle.

This documentary movie by Charles Guggenheim is told through the eyes of those who were involved in the events that won for AfricanAmericans the right to vote in the South during the 1950s and 60s. Many of the foot soldiers were young students who were willing to confront humiliation and death so that all Americans could share the right of full citizenship.
