Rummage Sale Scheduled

A rummage sale to benefit the Spring Mountain Waldorf School will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 30 and Sunday, March 31. There will be a special sale on Sunday.

Loan Closet To Meet

The Rappahannock Loan Closet will hold a meeting at 2 p.m. on Thursday, April 4 in the meeting room at the Rappahannock Library. Members and any interested persons are encouraged to attend.

RAAC-On-Tour

RAAC (Rappahannock Association for the Arts and the Community) will sponsor a “museum-or-your-choice” day trip to Washington, D.C. on Saturday, March 23.

Selected museum exhibitions include: “Landscape Kimonos by Itchiku Kubota” at the Museum of Natural History; “Traders and Raiders on China’s Northern Frontier”, “Painted Prayers” and “Luxury Arts of Silk Route Empires” at the Arthur M Sackler Gallery; “Crosscurrents in Chinese and Islamic Ceramics” and “Female Imagery in Indian Paintings” at the Freer Gallery; and “Liberation, 1945” at the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum.

Cars will leave the Trinity church parking lot at 9 a.m. Participants will be taken to their choice location in the morning and will meet at a central location in the afternoon for the trip home. The charge for travel will be $10 per person. Please call Rosie Day 675-3182 to make reservation.

Madhatter's Tea Party

Madhatter’s Spring Tea Party and Open House at Belle Meade will be held from 2-5 p.m. on Sunday, March 24. Come welcome spring in your most beautiful hat and bring your favorite tea dainty to share. Beekeepers To Meet

Northern Piedmont Beekeepers Association will hold its March meeting at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, the 21st at the Culpeper Cooperative Extension Service building, at the comer of South West Street and Davis Street.
