State Police sent out a message early Wednesday morning notifying police departments that Frangelina Lopez had failed to return from work release to Correctional Camp 13 in Chesterfield County.
Frangelina Lopez was last seen Tuesday at the Howard Johnsons at Route 10 and 1-95 in Chesterfield County. Frangelina Lopez was convicted of grand larceny and welfare fraud in Rappahannock Circuit Court and sentenced to eight years in December, 1994.
The notice from the State Police described Frangelina Lopez as a 5foot 8-inch white male with bleached blond hair and brown eyes. The notice further stated that the escapee may be posing as a woman and has been receiving female hormones “for some tim. ”
