RICHMOND — Virginia has joined other states in passing motorvoter legislation into law.
The measure, which supporters say will dramatically increase voter registration in the state, makes it possible for Virginians to register to vote at state offices including 71 Department of Motor Vehicles offices, 123 welfare offices and five Game and Inland Fisheries offices.
