Member Steve Critzer said he also served on the committee that devefc oped the guidelines and the only change he would suggest is something making guidelines for the number of people easier to understand.
Mr. Gooch made a motion to modify the guidelines to allow alcohol for specific functions that had prior approval from the council and to increase the rent charged for such functions.
Louise van Dort said she wanted to amend the motion to say that if alcoholic beverages are sold the person or organization would have to Obtain an ABC license for the event. “That will be a deterent to the casual use of the building for a drinking party,” she said.
