Even with the cold temperatures, 4 degrees when we awoke on Saturday morning and wind chills during the night well below zero, a very memorable time was had by all who braved the elemfents to attend.

As Scoutmaster of Boy Scout Troop 200, I would like to thank the volunteers from Rappahannock County who helped make this weekend a success. Sincere thanks goes to Ellen Manson, Wayne Wilson and Frank E. Huff of the Flint Hill Fire and Rescue Company for their help with the first aid stations. Thanks also to Sheriff Gary Settle and Major Rick Mac Welch gave a very interesting talk on hostage situations. Captain Jeff Brown helped with the behind the scenes coordination for a successful weekend.

It takes a community of concerned volunteers to help our young boys grow into the men that we would have them to become someday.

Troop 200 had the pleasure of placing 2nd in the First Aid competition. Congratulations, boys!
