If you are going to report on the event, we normally have to have your report by noon on Tuesday, and earlier is better. We can take news directly from a computer disc if it is written on a word processing program our computers can read. If that is not possible, double spaced typed news is easiest for us. Handwritten material must be readable.
If you want a photograph to be included, go ahead and get your film developed and give us the color print. Almost no photo shops will process black and white film any more, but we can print a black and white image from a color print.
This means that you cannot wait until after Christmas or Easter to finish the roll of film, so we suggest you get short rolls of film, rather than 36-exposure rolls. If your camera prints the date on the fjlm, turn that feature off. ! There is never any charge for putting news into the paper. Advertising ^s completely separate from news coverage.
