Into the Paper
Most weeks there is more news than space. We have to make decisions, and they are sometimes painful. Nevertheless, there are ways to increase the chance that your news will get into the paper. ‘ If you want the paper to cover your event, try to let us know about it well in advance. Try not to schedule it for a Tuesday or 'Wednesday, and try not to schedule it at the same time as another ;major event. Certain weekends, particularly in the spring and fall are loaded with events which stretch the abilities of our limited staff.
