A 13 year-old boy was suspended from Rappahannock County Elementary School last Wednesday for bringing two knives to school.
The student is suspended pending school board action, according to School Superintendent David Gangel. One knife was a Swiss army type knife and the other was a small two bladed knife. Sheriff Gary Settle anticipates that the student will be charged with bringing the knives on school property.
