Ms. Magrab received her studio art training at City College of New York, Utah Art center, and Mendocino Art Center. She won a Studio Arts Ribbon at the Utah State Fair and participated in various group exhibits. This is her first solo exhibit.
Her works are in private collections in the District of Columbia, Virginia, Maryland, New York, California, Hawaii, and the State of Washington.
Her career as a prominent psychologist and a Professor of Pediatrics at Georgetown University Medical Center has enriched her possibility as an artist. Serving as a supervisor to the art therapy program at the Medical Center for over a decade, she gained a very special view of the relationship between art and the inner persona.
The effect on her work has been to achieve a greater integrity and to present a strong psychological impact.
