Donations Needed for Book Sale
The Friends of the Rappahannock County Library are accepting donations of new or used books, musical instruments, videos, tapes, CDs and computer programs for their sale, July 4 at the Town Hall in Washington. Donations may be left inside the Town hall from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Donations may be brought to the Library during regular hours but the staff would prefer books be taken directly to the hall. Volunteers are needed to sort books. If you can help or if you have any questions, please call the Library at 675-3780.
Farm Show Scheduled
The Culpeper-Madison-Rappahannock Farm Show will be held July 24-29. This is the local three-county fair for youth and adults. 4-H and FFA members conducting a livestock project for 1995-96 can enter the livestock shows. All youth and adults can enter the other departments: art, pets, home economics, gardening, flowers, photography, cloverbuds, etc. Catalogs and registration forms are available at the Extension Office. Registration for entries is due to the Extension Office by July 1.
