Mrs. Mary Gardner Edmonds has returned of her home in Huntly after having recent surgery at Winchester Medical Center and improving nicely.
Charlie Woodward of Woodville is a patient at the U.V.A. Hospital in Charlottesville and very ill at this time. Our prayers are for him and his wife, Polly.
Rappahannock area Girl Scouts of the Virginia Girl Scout Council recently enjoyed a weekend of camping at Camp Sugar Hollow in Charlottesville. Seven of the county’s troops participated. Approximately 50 scouts, leaders and parents attended.
Miss Melanie Moffett of Warrenton was a Saturday overnight guest of her grandmother, Mrs. Jean B. Moffett.
Tuesday Mrs. Ann Simmons and Mrs. Ruth Clark had lunch in Fairfax.
Guests Sunday of Mrs. Annie Hawkins were Mr. and Mrs. Frank Hawkins of Arlington, Mr. and Mrs. Glen Gera and children Stephanie and Lindsey of Springfield, Mrs. Mabel Burke of Woodville* Mr. and Mrs. John Deal, Jamie and Johnathan of Hume, Roger Hawkins and Chris Hawkins of Warrenton.
Saturday Mrs. Sandra Hitt of Boston and Mrs. Frances Eubank had lunch in Front Royal.
Mr. and Mrs. John Eubank of Sperryville, Mrs. France Eubank and Vergil Payne had Sunday lunch at the Barvanian Chef Restaurant near Charlottesville.
Charles Richardson Jr. of Luray spent the weekend with his father and step-mother, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Richardson.
