In June Mr. and Mrs. Johnny Green as a pre wedding anniversary gift motored to Saint Marys, Pa. and visited Doris Bennett and Mary Hadden. From there they traveled on the New York and toured Niagara Falls and into Canada, where they report the falls on the Canadian side are more beautiful than the New York side; even though they experienced a wonderful time were happy to have returned home safely. On their wedding anniversary day, June 27 they motored to Luray and dined at Brookside Restaurant.
Mr. and Mrs. Joe Peregory, Jennifer and Joseph and Mr. Shelvy Frazier were in Fredericksburg on Friday and en route home the Peregorys traveled to Rochelle in Madison County and had dinner with Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Burke.
Mrs. Edith Green of Route 707 underwent cataract surgery on Monday under the skill hands of Dr. Coleman in Fredericksburg and her doctor is well pleased with her recovery.
Mrs. Betty Matchett, Reva Way is real excited and happy at the arrival of a granddaughter, Paige Allyne bom to Mr. and Mrs. Mark Paul on June 21. Paige was welcomed home by sisters, Ashlyn and Lyndie. Other grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Jim Paul of Amissville.
