211, 1/2 mile east of Skyline Drive, when she ran off the right side of the road and struck a sign and some trees. Trooper W. Sumner charged her with reckless driving. Ms. Danka sustained some minor injuries and the car had $1,500 damage.
Last Wednesday, David Denisar of Shenandoah, reported that while driving his wrecker on U.S. 211 in Washington, some boys (estimated to be about 13 years old) riding in the back of a cream colored pickup truck were throwing rocks out of the truck, striking his wrecker. He got the license number of the truck and the matter is under investigation.
Charges are pending in a case in which Michael Whitticar of Richmond was driving his Isuzu Trooper on Route 621 when someone threw a beer bottle at his vehicle from the side of the road on July 7.
Wallace Woodward of Rollins Ford Road in Amissville reported on July 2 that a $1,200 case bucket suspension seat had been stolen off of his bulldozer.
