To the Editor: *
On behalf of the Rappahannock County High School Band and the Band Boosters, we want to thank all that supported us during our Spring Concert.
Thanks to the Sperryville Emporium, Cabin Fever Books, The Country Cafe and Faith Mountain for donating items for the door prizes.
A special thanks to the many businesses in the county that generously placed ads in our program.
For the first time ever the Rappahannock High School Band can proudly wear uniforms next year. They were achieved through contributions from people like you and the sales of fruit, bake sales and donations.
Its’ real hard to raise $5,000 this way, but we did it. The Band Boosters are working on some different and exciting projects next year to combat the ever increasing budget.
We also welcome new members to the Band Boosters. If your child is a member of the band, it’s your obligation to be a part of this organization to add strength and support to the band.
Thank you again and we hope to see you in September.
