The Amissville Baptist Church will have their Vacation Bible School, “Kingdom of the Son, A Prayer Safari” from 9-11:30 a.m. July 29Aug. 2. There will Bible stories, Safari crafts, games and songs. A Stress Management Seminar will be held at the Amissville Health and Fitness Club on Tuesdays, Aug. 6, 13, and 20 from 11 a.m. to noon at Amissville United Methodist Church on U.S. 211. Guest speaker is Lyn Snyder of Hartland Wellness Center.
