The Independence Day celebration in Washington has again been an enormous success! It is a legacy given to the entire Rappahannock community by William Carrigan, and we are grateful to him for his inspiration and guidance, the use of his property and his continuing support. We cannot thank him enough.
There are many others who deserve our thanks as well. The effort of managing the activities of the day has fallen on the shoulders of a very few members of RAAC. They have done a superb job. Without them, this special day would not have occurred. This is a Rappahannock celebration, and I would hope that in the future
