The two women and three men had covered, on bicycle, distances ranging from 53 to 103 miles just that day. After a shower, a dip in the Hot Tub and a little rest, the guests enjoyed dinner, family style, in the Inn’s Great Room.
Charles and Marinne rose at 4:30 a.m. to prepare and early breakfast, and by 6:45 a.m., the 5 cyclists were once again on the road. This year Bike Virginia featured a tour of civil war sites.
The five day event started Saturday, June 22 and ended on the 26th in Manassas.
