Howard Myers, 85, of Rixeyville, was charged with failure to yield the' right of way following an accident on U.S. 211 near Hillsdale Grocery about noontime on July 2. Mr. Myerg was driving a 1988 Lincoln and was turning through a crossover. He pulled out in front of a 1992 Buick driven by Williar McClaugherty, 72, of Warrenton, who struck Mr. Myers’ car in the side. Trooper C.A. Moore investigated the accident, in which Mr. Myers’ car had $1,000 damage and Mr. McClaugherty’s had $1,500. No injuries were reported.
