Mrs. Shafran, who’s never been involved in pageants before says it was a wonderful experience and challenge, but she’s relieved it’s over. She had numerous friends and family members in Roanoke to support her — some from as far away as Texas. She was extremely proud to have represented Rappahannock County — a place she dearly loves.
