Mazie Clark
Mrs. Eliza Mazie Clark, 71, of Washington, died on Saturday, June 14 at Fauquier Hospital, the result of an auto accident
She was bom March 4, 1926, in Rappahannock County, a daughter of the late Silas Foster and Lena Woodard Foster.
She was a member of the Reynolds Memorial Baptist Church in Sperryville and was always a public servant always ready to help others.
She was retired as a self-employed domestic worker.
She was predeceased by her husband, Amos Booten Clark on April 2, 1997.
She is survived by her children, Charlotte Clark Jenkins and her husband, Roy of Sperryville; H. “Clark” Clark and his wife, Karie Wratchford of Washington; Jean Clark Shaw and her husband, James R. Shaw and Janice Clark Jenkins and her husband, Robert, all of Washington and Patricia Clark Baltimore and her husband, Goldie of Front Royal.
She is also survived by her brothers and sisters, Warren Foster of Washington; Burrell Foster of Luray: Virginia Nicholson and Colbert Nicholson, both of Fredericksburg; Emma Ballow of Sun City West Arfc. and Anna Belle Lewis of Front Royal; 11 grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Active pallbearers were Chucky Jenkins, Bobby Jenkins and Wesley Jenkins, Ricky Shaw, Tony Clark, and Mike Atkins.
Honorary pallbearers were Bobby Jenkins and Kevin Ramey.
Memorial contributions may be made to Reynolds Memorial Baptist Church Youth Group, Sperryville, Va. 22740.
