John Tapp
John Adams Tapp, 88, of Amissville, died on Wednesday, June 11 at Fauquier Hospital in Warrenton.
He was bom on June 24, 1908, in Rappahannock County. He was a farmer.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Betty Doyle Tapp; his father, Elijah Adams Tapp and his mother, Mary Lewis Tapp.
He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, William F. and Patricia Lee Tapp of Amissville; his son-in-law and daughter, Philip T. and Betty L. O’Connor of Amissville and five grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Saturday, June 14 at the Amissville United Methodist Church in Amissville with the Rev. Nancy White officiating.
Burial followed in the Amissville United Methodist Church Cemetery.
