Another way to support the center is by donating an item to the Silent Auction, which will be conducted on site from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Local businesses and individuals or team collecting the most pledges, largest team, etc. Auction items are donated by many generous area businesses and individuals. In the past, items donated have ranged from romantic dinners for two, overnight stays at Virginia’s finest bed and breakfast inns, to sides of beef and a new Stubben saddle.
A list of auction items will be available that day. To donate items for the auction, call VRTRC, 253-5643. The VRTRC Auction Donation Form must be received by July 21 to be listed in the Event Program. Please note that late items may not be listed.
