To the Editor:
The family of Gary and Amy Hitt wish to extend their gratitude and sincere thanks to the Amissville Volunteer Fire Department. Their quick response to the vehicle accident on Saturday, June 14 saved the life of Gary’s brother, John, who is recovering in Fairfax Hospital.
Chief J.B. Carter, EMT, Robert Croston, Wayne Dodson, Adrian Butler, Bill Davis and the several other firemen did an absolutely fantastic job. As did the firemen on the Little Fork Rescue Squad. Their professionalism and expertise was outstanding.
