Also speaking to the audience comprised of students, faculty, families, and friends were Valedictorian, Andrew Nilan of Warrenton and Salutatorian, Bridget Hickson of Front Royal. Mr. Nilan expressed his gratitude for the opportunities WCDS gave him and his fellow seniors for personal growth and credited the small, intimate nature of the school with giving him numerous opportunities to take an active role in his subjects of study. Miss Hickson noted “Wakefield has encouraged us to become whole persons.
