A lucky visitor to the house tour will win a queen-size American sampler quilt created by county residents. It will be on display at the parish hall on Oct. 18 and 19. The drawing will be held Oct. 19 at 5 p.m. Tickets are $2 each or a set of six for $10.
House tour hours are from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and from 1 to 5 p.m. on Sunday. Afternoon tea will be served at Fairlea Bed and Breakfast from 2 p.m. until 5 p.m. on both days and is included in the $10 ticket price. Call 675-3500.
