Her parents were the late William Joseph Elliott and Ada Lillard Elliott.
Her husband was the late Peter Wesley Hicks Jr.
Survivors include one brother John Elliott of Culpeper; one sister Helen Snyder of Culpeper and a number of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by one sister and seven brothers.
Funeral services were held on Thursday, Oct. 9 at CloreGeest Funeral Home in Culpeper.
Interment was in Fairview Cemetery.
The Rev. William Smith officiated.
