Benefit dinner, auction set
Boy Scout Troop 200 of Flint Hill is holding an all-youcan-eat spaghetti dinner and celebrity auction on Saturday, Oct. 18. The dinner will be held from 6 to 7 p.m. and will be followed by the auction at the Flint Hill Fire Hall. Cost is $3 per person.
Band Boosters to meet
The Rappahannock Band Boosters will meet at 7:30 p.m. at the Rappahannock County High School Library on Thursday, Oct. 23. Dr. David Gangel will be speaking. All are invited.
Fall festival dinner set
The Sperryville Volunteer Rescue Squad is sponsoring its annual Fall Festival dinner on Saturday, Nov. 1 from 5:30 to 8 p.m. at Rappahannock Elementary School. Come early, stay late, bring a date and have a feast of roast turkey, dressing, mash potatoes, gravy, peas, garden salad, homemade biscuits and a variety of desserts and beverages. Prices are adults $8 and children eight and under $4. The meal will be prepared bv pat Jenkins and Comnanv.
