The Claire and Coco television show seen each weekday morning on WMAL Channel 7 will make a tape in Rappahannock County this week to be televised next Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings. Unpleasant weather conditions held Shenandoah National Park visits down to slightly under 14,000 over the past weekend, a drop of some 27,000 from the comparable weekend last year, Superintendent R. Taylor Hoskins reported today. Individuals in this area 18 years or older, who for one reason or another have not attained at least an eighth grade education will have the opportunity to do so. As a result of a recent ruling by a U.S. ; Department of the Interior solicitor, dove ! hunters in Virginia and other Southeastern • states may legally begin shooting at noon eastern daylight time through Oct. 28, according to Game Commission Executive Director Chester F. Phelps.
