House tour planned
The annual Rappahannock House Tour sponsored by Trinity Episcopal Church will be held Oct. 18 and 19 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and from 1 p.m. to 5p.m. on Sunday. Once again, there will be three houses on tour, a tea and the famous dried flower sale. For information call Charlotte Nichols, 675-3500 or Louise Eastham, 675-3550.
Stained glass class set
Stained glass class offered for beginners and intermediate students will begin Saturday, Oct. 18 10 a.m. to 12 noon. Also Monday, Oct. 20, Tuesday, Oct. 21 from 7 to 9 p.m. Classes will run for six weeks, include all supplies for $125. Anyone interested call Pattie Brennan at DeDanann Glassworks 987-8615.
ADHD support group
As a follow up to last month’s meeting, a monthly support group for parents of children with ADHD has been formed. The October meeting will be on Tuesday, the 21st from 7 to 8 p.m. at Rappahannock Healing Arts. Come share your own personal story, collect resources and plan for future speakers. Flu clinics scheduled
The following dates and hours have been scheduled for flu clinics at the Rappahannock County Health Department: 8:30-11 a.m. on Oct. 20; 4:30-6:30 p.m. on Oct. 23 and 8:30-11 a.m. on Oct. 28.
Halloween party planned
The Amissville Volunteer Fire Department will have a Halloween party at the fire hall on Friday, Oct. 31 at 7:30 p.m. For more information call Sheila Scott at 937-4357.
