While her goal is to work big, she will also be creating some smaller pieces which people could purchase.
Wagner said she has always had an interest and fascination with old tiles but, she has never seen anyone do with tiles what she is doing. “Others paint tiles and decorate them. Mine are pieces of a whole, shaped individually to fit together in patterns to create a work of art.”
Rather than being ornamentally pretty, they elicit feelings in those who view them. •
