Unlike their more photogenic cousins, the wolves, coyotes have been steadily flourishing since the earlier parts of the century, thanks in part to their highly adaptable nature.
“They’re going to do well, no matter where they are,” said Chad Fox, district supervisor for the Virginia Cooperative Coyote Control Program.
