“The novels will be somewhat smaler in size this year” reports Mark Tompkins, director of domestic marketing to Sunkist Growers, a marketing cooperative representing California and Arizona citrus growers. “This provides an excellent piefce of fruit for snacking and inclusibn in lunch boxes, as well as for use in gift baskets and decorations. The size is also nice for juicing. Smaller sized navels will definitely be the better buy,” he added.
