Clara Grimsley Nicely, 79, of Wheaton, Md., died on Saturday, Dec. 26 in Olney, Md.
She was born on July 19, 1919 in Rappahannock County, a daughter of the late Otha Grimsley Jr. and the late Mable Wharton.
Her husband was the late Clarence Nicely.
Survivors include one daughter Patricia Johnson of Wheaton, Md.; one son Edward Clinton Nicely of Glendale, Ariz.; five grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Graveside services were conducted Dec. 30 at Fairview Cemetery.
Clore-Geest Funeral Home in Culpeper was in charge of the arrangements.
