The Flint Hill Fire company has purchased a new rescue squad ambulance. The vehicle, a 1969 Plymouth Suburban was obtained through Russell Brothers, the Chrysler-Plymouth agency in Flint Hill. It was equipped at Automotive Conversions with red lights, siren, stretchers, etc. Early in December Emory Russell and Douglas Bywaters went to Detroit and drove the vehicle here. The doors have been lettered and the vehicle is now in use. Frank Huff, Captain of the Flint Hill Rescue Squad was pictured in this issue with the new ambulance. The company also kept the older unit. At a recent meeting of the Amissville Fire Department the following officers were elected to officiate for the coming year: president, Paul A. Poling; vice president, Ralph H.
