One of our “ Speaker Series” presentations will include a multi-media event with the Appalachian Voices” group out of Boone N.C. which has been studying tree mortality in the eastern forests of North America, most recently the Shenandoah National Park region. We are also planning to revisit and revise the “ Rappahannock Notable Trees Registry “ and are open to recommendations and/ or submissions at any time henceforth.
For the second consecutive year we will be we will be working with John Kiser and other community members, organizations and business on enhanced liter and recycling efforts in the area through the “ Trash Free Rappahannock “ Program.
