NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING
January 20,1999 Dulles Hyatt Hotel, 2300 Dulles Corner Blvd. Herndon, VA
Presentation begins at 7:00 PM
You are invited and encouraged to attend the first of two public meetings focusing on a proposed rapid transit initiative in the Dulles Corridor. The suggested alignment follows the Dulles Airport Access Road and the Dulles Greenway, from I-66 to Dulles Airport and Eastern Loudoun County. The route leaves the Access Road to more directly serve the concentrations of employment, shopping, and residences in Tysons Corner, then returns to the Access Road at Route 7. The Study, conducted by the Dulles Corridor Task Force, is a key component in the phased implementation of rail service in the Corridor. The phasing begins with dedicated express bus service beginning in Spring 1999, then moves to an innovative Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) system and will conclude with engineering, environmental, and financial actions necessary to begin rail operations. Please join us, we really want to hear from you! For auxiliary aid and services for qualified individuals with disabilities, please call 1-800-811-4661 or email us at dullesbrt@aol.com, at least one week in advance of the meeting.
