Mrs. Beatrice Booth Austin of Lynchburg died Nov. 22.
Mrs. Austin taught in the Rappahannock School system from 1951-1980. She taught at Scrabble School from 1951 until 1968. She then taught at the Rappahannock Elementary School until her retirement in 1980.
Mrs. Austin was bom in Campbell County, Va. on Feb. 19, 1914, the daughter of the late Ellis and Allie Duiguid Booth. She was a faithful member of the Long Mountain Baptist Church.
She leaves a daughter Ms. Beatrice Ann Pannell; a granddaughter Ms. Alicia Pannell; two sisters Mrs. Allie B. Jones and Mrs. Eula Mitchell; a brother Louis Booth, all of Lynchburg and another brother Ellis Booth of Hampton and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
_ Fpneral services were held Nov. 25 at the Long Mountain Baptist Church with the Rev. Lorenzo Rauff officiating. Interment was at Forest Hill
