The offices of the Rappahannock Commission of Revenue, Clerk’s Office, Commonwealth Attorney, Treasurer’s Office and Sheriff’s Office will partici!>ate
in a statewide food colection drive being coordinated by VALECO, the association representing Virginia’s Constitutional Officers.
The drive, first of its kind in the state, will run from Jan. 18 to Feb. 12. The public is invited to drop off , non-perishable food items at the offices Monday through Friday throughout that period during regular business hours. All offices are located on Gay Street except for the Sheriff’s Office on Mt. Salem Avenue.
“We are proud to join hundreds of fellow constitutional officers in providing Virginians an opportunity to help fellow citizens in need,” said the Rappahannock officers.
