Brief remarks
The rhetoric was really flowing at last Monday night’s
supervisors’ meeting, but one person kept her remarks brief. Barbara Williams rose simply to add that additional letters of support for the Sperryville gateway project would be forthcoming.
Such brevity belies the magnitude of Ms. Williams’ contri- . bution to the cause. As much as anything else, her vision of - what our little town can be has been the driving force behind the emerging renaissance of Sperryville. As neighbors we salute Barbara’s special combination of iron persistence and cheerful pragmatism.
