Club got fully involved ... nearly all of its members signed up for this year’s TFR drive after Jeff reported to the membership on TFR plans and suggested Lions’ involvement.
Jeff believes that full success will come when the importance of participation filters down to all Rappahannock communities, and when grassroots pressure on local business and government generates an organizational and ongoing solution to Rappahannock’s trash problem.

Tuesday, as I drove up route 231, I decided that I did not want to see that white plastic trash bag live to see day thirty-four in the wild.
It’s now in the back of my truck destined for disposal at the dumpster. It was about as difficult to pick it up as it wag for some fellow Rappahannock resident to toss it out of his truck.
Maybe on his next trip to town, he’ll save me the trouble, and toss it in the dump-' ster himself.
