Ms. Jennifer Gregg from the United States Tennis Association visited Wakefield Country Day School Wednesday, Feb. 24 to present its School Tennis Program to grades one through seven.
The USTA program brings tennis to the nation’s schoolchildren and assists schools in putting tennis into their physical education programs.
Mrs. Debbie Cooper, WCDS sports teacher, will be using Ms. Gregg’s suggestions and resource materials made available to her to further develop the student’s knowledge and enthusiasm for tennis. WCDS also plans on developing a competitive tennis program in the future.
