The new map, now available from the Historical Society, is hand-drawn and highly detailed, showing a great variety of features, from current structures and roads to sites of old ruins and Civil War skirmishes. To verify the map’s accuracy, Mr. Scheel spent countless hours interviewing county residents and walking the land.
The map costs $15 on standard paper, and the signed limited edition version printed on special stock is available for $50.
