The RCHS Senior Class left on Monday, Feb. 22, evening for their class trip to Seven Springs, Pa. They returned Sunday afternoon....exhausted for sure.
• At RCES Mrs. Genther’s class is studying the letter “V”. with lessons on volcanoes, violins, and vegetable seeds planted in gloves? I wonder how that works!!!
• In kindergarten, students are studying dinosaurs, dragons and deserts, I’ll bet you can guess the letter that prompted those subjects!
• If any of you sew and would like to help the RCHS Chorus continue the wonderful Renaissance evening as an annual event each December, please contact Janet Long at RCHS, 987-857£> or Jan Makela at RCES, 987-8259.
Volunteers are needed to help make costumes. This will eliminate the need to pay large sums of money to rent them, and we will have them “in house” for future productions.
• Don’t forget . . .
• Artist-in-Residence, Kenny Marotta, will be at RCES from March 1-12 working with fifth through seventh graders helping them create poetry.
• World of Music will be presented at 7 p.m. on March 4 in the RCES gym. The community is invited to attend.
• The first phase of the new RCES playground will be installed on March 5.
Stay tuned.
