Belated anniversary wishes to Ernest David and Dora L. Gheen who were married 63 years on Feb. 10.
They have raised seven children, four boys and three girls, and 14 grandchildren. Mr. and Mrs. Gheen also have 10 great-grandchildren and a number of step grandchildren and great-grandchildren. What stories this couple must have to share with their families.
Our community recently lost a wonderful man. When we first moved to the area 10 years ago, Jack Settle, Sr. and his wife, Peggy were among the first to greet us at Amissville Baptist Church. We extend our sympathy to his loving family and many friends.
